Caregiving

There are more than 22 million households who provide care for a friend or family member who is no longer to able to handle the day-to-day tasks associated with normal living.  Many people don't identify themselves as a Caregiver because they "just help out with the cleaning, or the shopping, or the finances, or..."  All these tasks are part of caregiving.  As conditions persist and worsen, caregving often becomes much more than a "just..." level of help and can quickly become a full-time task.  This is what we know of as long-term care.

Caregivers are both male and female, young and old.  Being an effective Caregiver requires you to learn new skills, develop new habits and find resources to support your efforts.
