Q. What is the mission of your organization?
A. in a few words "helping you help those you love"  We provide practical and emotional support for family caregivers.  You can read our formal Mission Statement here."
 
Q. How does TCFOA fund its activities?
A. TCFOA continually seeks grants and donations and has some "fee for service" programs that help fund the organization.  These are:
  • Daily Money Management Services
  • Senior Home Organization Services
  • Employee caregiver Assistance Programs (EAP programs)
  • Family caregiver Planning Facilitation

 

Q. What services are available without charge?

A. a wide variety of individual and group services are available:

  • Caregiver Support Group (estabishment and facilitation)
  • Workshops and Seminars
  • Speakers for Events
  • Access to electronic and printed caregiver Resource material
  • Caregiving e-newsletter
  • Initial one-on-one Caregiving counseling

 

Q. What volunteer opportunities are available?

A. Individuals who would like to be involved with TCFOA can help in many ways:

  • Respite provider (requires training and background check)

Publicity and editorial production

Community event support

Newsletter production

Train as  Support Group leader or facilitator
